Big Cheers for Making More Trailers (and Selling Them!) 🎉

Our factory is really raising the bar! We were able to make 75% more trailers than usual, and you know what the best part is? We sold every single one! This just shows how amazing our production crew is – they're skilled, they work hard, and it's really paying off. And our sales team? They're absolute pros! They know exactly how to get our trailers out there. They certainly exceeded expectations. Seriously, congrats to them for their awesome results, how professional they are, and for their skilled customer service. And to everyone on the Horizon Trailers team, we really appreciate that they always go the extra mile! 💪👏

Growing Bigger and Better! 🏗️

We've got some really exciting news about making Horizon Trailers even bigger and better:

Making Our Current Place Bigger 🏭➡️

1. We're adding onto our current factory; in February we started the construction of a new building for the assembly area. This means we'll have more space to build more trailers and even start making new types of trailers! This should all be finished within the next few months. Not only will we be able to make more trailers, but it'll also create lots of new jobs for people around here, and we'll be able to offer even more cool trailer options. 🙌💼

Building a HUGE New Factory! 🏗️🔧

1. This March we also started building a brand-new factory in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua. And here’s a fun fact– it's going to be three times bigger than our current one! This is going to bring many new jobs to the area, and it means we'll be able to offer even more different kinds of trailers down the road. It feels good knowing that our growth is helping our community. These are exciting times! 🌎

And speaking of making things better, we're all about making top-notch trailers. To do that, we need to keep our work up-to-date with the best ways of doing things and the latest technology. So, we're super happy to say that we've been working on a new ERP system for our business. 💻📈 It's going to make planning and scheduling our production much faster and easier. This new system is almost ready, and we should have it running by the end of May. ✅

Getting the Word Out There! 📣💬🧢

Our marketing team has been doing an awesome job getting more people to know about us. This is super important because we want everyone to think of Horizon Trailers whenever they hear the word "trailer." They're doing a great job working with the people who sell our trailers (dealers – sales team), providing them with merch like shirts, jackets, hats, brochure stands, and more (all this obviously with our company logo) 🧥📝🧢 This helps them connect better with customers and helps us towards our goal of being among the top trailer manufacturers in the market. 🚛🏆

The marketing team has also been all over social media – you can find us on Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. They're always posting cool videos, pictures, reviews, and blogs in fun and innovative ways. 📸🎥 This helps us stay in touch with our customers and dealers in a way that feels fresh and interesting.

New Trailers on the Block! 🆕

We've added four new trailer models to our lineup: the FFH, FFT, FHS, and FTS. These are strong, flat-deck trailers with a tilting deck. This gives our dealers and customers even more choices! 🔄🔩👍 Feel free to learn more about these new trailers on our website, and discover their specs and all the options of models you can choose from. An important feature is that you can choose from a wide variety of colors, so the customer can personalize it as much as possible.

Strong dealer partnership 🤝

We've also made our relationships even stronger with the people who successfully contribute to selling our trailers. They're really important because they're the ones who get our trailers to our customers and help spread the word about Horizon Trailers. We very much appreciate and value our dealer network, they certainly are key to the successful and strong kick-off of 2025. We look forward to working with them for years to come. 📣💼

Dealing with Some Bumps in the Road (Literally!) 🛣️

Our shipping and delivery team had a tough few weeks, especially in March. But why them specifically? Well, the new tariffs that the U.S. announced put a lot of pressure on companies like ours (the trailer manufacturing industry in general). Everyone suddenly wanted to get their trailers across the border before the end of March. This made our shipments double…really, double! 📦📦 It was a lot for our logistics team to handle, but they did an amazing job and got everything sorted out. So, a big shout-out to them for their hard work and great results! 👏🎯 It seems like things are flowing more smoothly now, however, we understand that even though things appear to be returning to "normal," we certainly can’t rest on our laurels.

Keeping an Eye on the Market: 👀

In terms of the competitive landscape – oh boy! The trailer manufacturing industry is growing fast in the United States (and other countries too). But what does that mean, is it good or bad? 🤔 It’s definitely good! That means the demand for trailers is high, so, we have lots of work to do. We consider having other trailer companies out there is a good thing. It keeps us on our toes, makes us think creatively, and pushes us to build and deliver the best trailers we can for our customers. We know there are other options out there, so that helps us stay focused and always try to improve. 🧠🔧 Because as they say, if you don’t take care of your customers, somebody else will.

What's Next? The Second Quarter of 2025! 📆🔜

The second quarter has just started, and we're really excited about it. We're ready for whatever comes our way. Our plans are clear: keep working on making our current factory bigger (yeah, it'll have its challenges, but even more opportunities!)…hey! if it was easy, anyone would do it! 💪💼

Building our new factory is another big goal. It's going to be a lot of work getting all the new machines and automation set up, but we’re ready for the challenge. Furthermore, this significantly larger manufacturing plant in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, signals a major leap forward. This important growth will allow us to introduce new trailer models, which will be announced soon – so, stay tuned!

As we mentioned before, the ERP system is soon to be introduced; we look forward to having it ready, installed, and doing its magic 🪄 … as it will bring major benefits to our production processes.
